A view of a river corridor on a fall day

Process

Planning for the West Region Blueway & Trail System is focused on establishing new ways to learn about and enjoy the remarkable natural resources found in western Hamilton County while balancing these activities with Great Parks’ conservation goals.

As we develop the West Region Blueway & Trail System master plan, we’re conducting technical studies and analyzing the existing conditions of the Whitewater River and Great Miami River corridors to better understand the character, opportunities, and challenges of the rivers and surrounding landscapes.
